I just stumbled upon a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in the engine performance subsection on E90post that made me fall in love with someone in a totally platonic way, through the internet. Not that my fiancee has to worry about any competition.
Topic: Secondary Cats
Post #1: I’ve been thinking lately, I’m already running a catless downpipe, why not just get rid of the secondary cats and keep my stock mufflers... Has anyone done this setup? (So it would be whole exhaust is stock except for the removal of the primary and secondary cats)
Post #2: Hell yeah, f*#ck the environment and the air you breathe. Moar *brap* brah!
I heart-clicked the hell out of Post #2.

You might not have any drone due to being manual. Us auto guys I’m sure would have some drone. I’ll be waiting for your video either way.
Wut?

Referring to different rear end ratios in stick v. auto. Autos tend to have a taller ratio.
Manual 335i E9X’s run 3.08's in the rear v. 3.46 autos.
I run a 2.93 v. a 3.91 in an auto and will likely switch to a 3.38 or 3.73 depending on availability

They might be talking about the manual 335 has a taller final drive ratio than the automatic. Highway drone on the N55 is usually around 2000-2500 rpm, at least it was on my 135is the had the BMW Performance exhaust.

I thought they had the same final ratios unless the auto is a 7 speed DCT like in the 135is. Looked it up, guess I was wrong
